Calloway County Narcotics Indict Four on Meth Charges

Four face felony methamphetamine and drug-related charges

MURRAY, Ky. — On July 13, 2025, the Calloway County Narcotics Division presented several cases to the Grand Jury, resulting in indictments and arrest warrants for all involved individuals.

Danny Ferguson, 62, of Murray, was indicted on July 13 for first-degree possession of methamphetamine (first offense) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Additional charges of the same nature were added during warrant service.

Donnie J. Mathis, 48, from New Concord, Ky., also received an indictment on July 13. He faces charges including first-degree methamphetamine possession (first offense), possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ralph Buchanan, 73, of Murray, was indicted on July 14 for first-degree possession of methamphetamine (first offense), possession of drug paraphernalia, and second offense trafficking in less than 8 ounces of marijuana. Additional charges for third or more offense methamphetamine possession and marijuana possession were added during warrant service.

Billy K. Reed, 42, of Almo, Ky., was indicted on July 13 for first-degree trafficking of a controlled substance (over 2 grams), possession of drug paraphernalia, and as a persistent felony offender.

All four individuals face serious felony charges related to methamphetamine and drug offenses as the investigation continues.
