A 31-year-old man, Caleb Anthony Toledo of Pflugerville, was arrested last Thursday and charged with murder in connection with a fatal overdose that occurred in Round Rock this past July.
Toledo was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals and booked into the Williamson County Jail on Friday, where he remains held on a $250,000 bond. At the time of publication, no attorney information for Toledo had been provided.
The overdose victim was discovered dead at his home on Lord Byron Circle on July 22, the day after Toledo allegedly sold him fentanyl and Xanax. Following an investigation, Round Rock Police obtained an arrest warrant for Toledo on Nov. 20, charging him with murder.
Assistance was requested from the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF), and investigators tracked Toledo to a hotel in Round Rock, where he attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended by authorities.
The case is ongoing, and further details will be updated as more information becomes available.
