One man is in custody after allegedly leading deputies on a stolen vehicle chase in Suwannee County, according to the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, deputies spotted a vehicle reported stolen to the Live Oak Police Department. When officers attempted to pull it over, the driver, Caleb Green, did not stop and allegedly tried to ram a patrol vehicle.
The chase continued toward Highway 90, with Green driving off-road and disabling the vehicle. He then fled on foot before being apprehended by SCSO deputies and Florida Highway Patrol troopers.
Green faces charges including grand theft of a motor vehicle and eluding police.
