In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, excise enforcement teams in Hyderabad arrested three individuals in two separate operations, seizing significant quantities of cocaine, OG Kush, and ganja.
In the first case, officials apprehended Karan Parmamar, a local businessman, for smuggling cocaine and OG Kush from Goa to Hyderabad. Parmamar, who frequently traveled to Goa, reportedly became addicted to drugs and began supplying narcotics to his friends in the city to increase his income.
During the raid, authorities seized:
19.36 grams of cocaine, valued at approximately Rs3 lakh
6.7 grams of OG Kush, a high-grade marijuana variant, worth around Rs35,000
Officials stated that Parmamar’s arrest is part of a broader operation aimed at dismantling Goa-Hyderabad drug supply chains. Investigations into his network are ongoing.
