Two men, Bryant Jackson, 58, and Toronto Williams, 40, were arrested on April 4 as part of a drug investigation in Odessa, Texas. The Odessa Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence on Snyder Street, where they discovered two rock-like substances in the middle bedroom on a table near the doorway. Officers identified the substances as crack cocaine, weighing 22.6 grams, and also found marijuana in the living room table.
Williams admitted to selling the crack cocaine, while Jackson claimed the marijuana was his. In addition to the drugs, detectives found packaging materials commonly used for narcotics distribution.
Both men were arrested for drug trafficking, with Williams charged with manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance over four grams but less than 200 grams. Jackson faces a charge for possessing marijuana, which weighed 0.45 ounces.
Jackson is currently held in Ector County Jail with a bond set at $50,750, while Williams is incarcerated with a bond of $50,000.
