Bruce True, 39, of East Side Drive in Concord, was arrested on April 17, 2025, following a long-running undercover investigation into his involvement in drug dealing and illegal weapon possession. True, a felon with a criminal history spanning nearly 22 years, now faces serious charges including possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell and two felon-in-possession of a dangerous weapon charges.

The investigation, which began in February 2025, involved undercover communications with True, who was identified as a known source of illicit drugs in the area. On the day of his arrest, True was contacted through a covert Facebook account, where an officer, posing as a buyer, arranged to purchase methamphetamine. The sale was set to take place near True’s residence at a CVS on Loudon Road. At 9:45 p.m. on April 17, True was apprehended by detectives at the arranged location.

During his arrest, authorities discovered True in possession of 14 grams of methamphetamine, as well as a spring-assisted knife and an air-powered Sig Sauer P365 pistol, which resembled a real firearm. The pistol was found in a fanny pack, and the knife had characteristics similar to brass knuckles.

True’s case has been bound over from Concord District Court to Merrimack County Superior Court. His bail has been set at $500 cash.

True’s criminal record includes multiple charges, such as theft, robbery, drug-related offenses, and assault, dating back to 2002. His previous convictions include robbery, theft, and a variety of drug charges, along with several prison sentences.
