Brothers Abubakar, Mohammed, and Solomon Adejoh Arrested for Fraud

Makurdi EFCC Nabs Trio in Suspected Internet Scam

Operatives from the Makurdi Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested three brothers on May 17, 2024, in connection with suspected internet fraud. The suspects—Abubakar Sadiq Adejoh, Mohammed Habib Adejoh, and Solomon Adejoh—were apprehended along New Garage, Wadata in Makurdi.

The trio is accused of diverting customer funds from their accounts to a Point of Sale (POS) terminal for withdrawal. During the operation, the EFCC recovered significant items, including a car, six mobile phones, one laptop, and cash amounting to N3,562,750.00 (Three Million Five Hundred and Sixty-Two Thousand, Seven Hundred and Fifty Naira).

The suspects are expected to face charges in court as soon as investigations conclude.
