The Brock couple, including a Summerdale police officer, were arrested on Tuesday night in Baldwin County and later released on a $7,500 bond. Their arrest came after a criminal investigation led by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office and the Alabama Attorney General’s Office, which began in June 2023.
Both individuals face charges of Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree and Forgery in the Second Degree. These charges are classified as Class C felonies, which carry a sentence of 1 to 10 years in prison if convicted.
The officer, identified as Brock, was placed on leave from his duties with the Summerdale Police Department during the ongoing investigation.
The couple was booked into the Baldwin County Corrections Center but was soon released after posting bond. The case continues to develop, and both individuals await further legal proceedings.
