Wallingford Woman Arrested Following Drug Investigation
WALLINGFORD, CT (WFSB) — A months-long narcotics investigation in Wallingford led to the arrest of 34-year-old Brittany Wambolt, police announced Thursday.
Authorities executed a search warrant at Wambolt’s residence on North Turnpike Road, where they seized narcotics and other evidence related to illegal drug sales.
Wambolt faces multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance and interfering with an officer. She was held on a $120,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on August 14.
Police say the arrest is the result of an extended investigation into her suspected involvement in illegal drug activity in the area.
