In a tragic incident in Mahadevankulam, near Thisaiyanvilai, Tamil Nadu, Brinda (25) has been arrested along with her three paramours for the alleged murder of her two-and-a-half-year-old daughter. The child was found dead under suspicious circumstances, prompting a thorough investigation by the local police.
According to police reports, Brinda had been residing with her daughter while her husband, Sarath, worked in Coimbatore. On the night of the incident, Brinda visited her mother’s house in nearby Naduvaikurichi and claimed that her daughter had suddenly fainted. Despite efforts to rush the child to a nearby hospital, she was declared brought dead.
Upon examination, doctors noted injuries on the child’s hands and lips, raising suspicions of foul play. The body was sent to Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
