AUBURN, Ala. (WRBL) — An Auburn man is in custody after police discovered multiple images of child sexual abuse material, authorities said.
38-year-old Brian Russell Lilly was arrested on October 30, 2025, on seven felony warrants charging him with possession of child sexual abuse material, according to the Auburn Police Department.
The case began on September 30, 2025, when investigators received information suggesting that an Auburn resident might be in possession of illegal images of juveniles. Further investigation identified Lilly as the suspect. Police say the recovered images were confirmed to depict minors from outside the Auburn area.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have indicated that additional charges may be filed as the case develops.
Lilly was booked into the Lee County Jail and is being held on $70,000 bond.
