PLACER COUNTY, Calif. – Brent Chandler Clifford, the son of Creedence Clearwater Revival drummer Doug Clifford, made his first court appearance Friday on felony identity theft charges, which ultimately led to his arrest in Portola.
While his bail was set at $55,000 for identity theft, Clifford cannot be released due to a murder charge related to the disappearance and death of his girlfriend, Patricia Portella-Wright.
