TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police Special Victims Unit arrested 42-year-old Brent Allen Reamy on September 16 in connection with a sexual assault that occurred at Hunter Park in August.
According to police, shortly after the assault, an officer encountered Reamy near 91st and Yale. During this encounter, Reamy asked the officer questions about the police response in the area and exhibited unusual behavior. However, police initially lacked sufficient description to link him to the assault.
Subsequent investigation by the Tulsa Police Special Victims Unit collected evidence from multiple sources placing Reamy inside Hunter Park at the time of the assault. Additionally, the victim identified Reamy as the suspect during a photo lineup.
On September 16, the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office charged Brent Reamy with one count of rape by instrumentation. He was arrested, questioned, and booked into Tulsa County Jail shortly after.
