Brennan Burney Arrested in Franklin Armed Robbery

J’Trell Connor remains wanted and armed, police say

On June 27, 2025, around 3:44 PM, the Franklin Police Department responded to an armed robbery at a bank on Main Street in Franklin, Louisiana. Two male suspects entered the bank with handguns and demanded money from employees.

During the investigation, detectives identified two persons of interest linked to the robbery.

One suspect, Brennan Burney, 28, of Irish Bend Road, was arrested early the next morning at 1:40 AM on June 28. He faces multiple charges, including:

Armed robbery

Six counts of aggravated assault with a firearm

False imprisonment

Possession of Schedule I narcotics (marijuana)

Bringing contraband into a penal institution

Burney was booked and held on a $1,110,000 bond.

The second suspect, J’Trell Connor, has been identified but is still at large. Connor is wanted for the same serious offenses and is considered armed and dangerous.

Authorities urge anyone with information on Connor’s whereabouts to contact the Franklin Police Department immediately.
