SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WWLP) — A Springfield woman has been arrested in connection with two separate thefts totaling $1,000 from the Old Navy store on Evergreen Way in South Windsor.
According to the South Windsor Police Department, 37-year-old Brenda Figueroa turned herself in on Tuesday at police headquarters after an arrest warrant was issued for her involvement in a March theft of $400 in merchandise.
Police say Figueroa was identified as the suspect through an investigation following the initial incident. She was charged with larceny and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond. She is due to appear in Manchester Superior Court on June 18.
Authorities also confirmed Figueroa had been previously arrested for another theft from the same Old Navy store in April, where she allegedly stole about $600 in merchandise.
She now faces multiple charges related to retail theft in both incidents.
