On February 21, 2025, the Hendersonville Police Department responded to reports of a suspicious person attempting to purchase gift cards using multiple declined credit cards. Officers arrived at the scene and identified Brantley White (42) and Korin Moffett (31) as suspects.
When confronted, White fled the area in his vehicle but was captured after a police chase. A search of the suspects revealed they were in possession of 32 credit cards and 14 gift cards, allegedly used to launder money.
Both suspects were taken into custody and booked at Sumner County Jail on the following charges:

Simple Possession of a Schedule VI Substance
Criminal Responsibility to Commit Money Laundering
Criminal Responsibility to Commit Identity Theft Trafficking
Korin Moffett
Possession of Stolen Property Over $1,000
Attempted Theft of Property Under $1,000

Identity Theft Trafficking
The Hendersonville Police Department, in collaboration with the Metro Nashville Police, Metro Nashville Airport Authority, and other agencies, has linked the suspects to additional crimes throughout Middle Tennessee. Authorities expect further charges as the investigation continues.
