A Tuscaloosa man was taken into custody on Thanksgiving Day hundreds of miles from home, according to newly released jail records.
41-year-old Brandon Marques Thomas was arrested in Indiana and is now facing charges that include possession of a controlled substance, theft of a firearm, and additional charges originating from other agencies.
Thomas is currently being held without bond at the Vanderburgh County Jail. Records show he was booked shortly before 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Officials in Indiana have not yet released details regarding the circumstances of his arrest. ABC 33/40 has requested additional information from authorities as the investigation continues.
