KERSHAW, S.C. (WBTV) — Four suspects are in custody and one remains on the run after a drug raid last week in Lancaster County, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation began in early September when task force agents conducted a controlled fentanyl purchase from Billy Sanders at his residence. That buy led to a search warrant for his property.
When law enforcement arrived to arrest Sanders on Wednesday, he reportedly fled on foot into nearby woods after bailing out of a car in the driveway. As of now, Sanders remains at large, and deputies say he is wanted on multiple drug charges.
Four Others Arrested:
Christopher Whited (39) – driver of the car Sanders was in
Holly Faile (39) – passenger in the same vehicle
Christa McNeil (32) – found inside the home
Kantara Sowell (30) – also found inside the home
Drugs and Items Seized:
8.2 grams of suspected fentanyl
30.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine
3.3 grams of suspected marijuana
0.4 grams of suspected crack cocaine
Xanax (alprazolam) pills
Gabapentin
Clonazepam
Digital scales and a smoking pipe
