Bhubaneshwar Police Arrest Burglars in Jewellery Heist

Four Arrested, Gold & Silver Worth Lakhs Recovered

A joint team of Special Operation Group, Bhubaneswar, Surveillance, and Cantt police arrested four notorious burglars following a jewellery shop theft near Ganganagar on February 13.

Accused Details

Gaurav Kanojia (24) – Attarsuiya

Bakridul Seikh alias Popo (21) – Jharkhand

Sameeul Seikh alias Chotu (20) – Jharkhand

Parvez Alam alias Tauseef alias Nepali (21) – Kareli

Two accomplices remain at large.

Crime Details

The burglars broke the shop shutter and stole gold and silver ornaments worth several lakhs of rupees.

Recovered items include:

450 grams of gold

1.8 kg of silver

Two bikes used in the crime

Sharp-edged weapon used for the burglary

FIR registered under Sections 331(4), 305(A), and 317(2) of BNS.

All arrested burglars had criminal sketches in their possession.
