Rajasthan Police arrested Bhavika Choudhary, a 27-year-old woman from Barmer district, for smuggling 152 grams of MDMA concealed inside her laptop bag. The arrest took place in Jalore when police, acting on a tip-off, intercepted a roadways bus traveling from Barmer to Gujarat.
According to Station House Officer Baldev Ram, the drugs were found in two small packets tucked inside the laptop bag during the vehicle search. Authorities revealed that Bhavika is active on social media, boasting over 85,000 followers on Instagram.
During initial questioning, Bhavika disclosed that she received the drug consignment from another woman in Barmer, meant to be transported to Gujarat. The police are continuing their investigation and further interrogating Bhavika to uncover more details about the drug network.
