BARSTOW, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Four Nevada residents were arrested following a retail theft at the Outlets at Barstow that resulted in the loss of more than $4,000 in merchandise, according to Barstow Police Department.
The theft occurred Friday, November 7, 2025, at approximately 11:47 a.m., when officers responded to a report of stolen merchandise at a business located in the 2700 block of Tanger Way. The store manager stated that several individuals had entered the store, taken items, and fled with goods valued at over $4,000.
Investigators obtained the suspect vehicle’s license plate and description and shared the information with surrounding law enforcement agencies.
The following day, Saturday, November 8, 2025, at around 8:00 p.m., the Culver City Police Department located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Officers detained five individuals, and Barstow police confirmed that four were responsible for the theft.
The arrested suspects are:
Lacy Purdy, 52
Stephanie Sipple, 39
Jared Warren, 28
Jonathan Brandon, 45
All were booked into the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department West Valley Detention Center on charges of PC 459 – Commercial Burglary and PC 182(a)(1) – Conspiracy to Commit Commercial Burglary. Additionally, Jared Warren had an outstanding PC 459 warrant from Nevada.
Police confirmed that the stolen property was recovered and returned to the business.
