RANDLEMAN, N.C. — On May 22, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice Narcotics Unit concluded a narcotics distribution investigation that led to the arrest of Barry Anthony Blake in Randleman.
Detectives executed a search warrant at Blake’s residence on Peeler Drive, where they seized a trafficking amount of fentanyl, various items of drug paraphernalia, U.S. currency, and a stolen firearm.
As a result, Blake was taken into custody and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center. A magistrate found probable cause to charge him with the following:
Felony trafficking in opium or heroin
Felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule II substances
Felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substances
Felony possession of a stolen firearm
Felony possession of a firearm by a felon
Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia
Blake received no bond, and his first court appearance was scheduled for May 23, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
