Two residents from Barre City were issued citations after stealing merchandise from the Walmart in Berlin, Vermont. The theft occurred late on January 31, and the stolen items were not specified by the authorities.
Thanks to tips from the public, officers were able to identify the suspects as Normand Fortier, 58, and Teddie Lawson, 50. Law enforcement officials made contact with the pair in Barre City and issued them citations.
The two individuals are scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Washington Criminal Division, on March 13, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. to face charges related to the theft.
