n a swift and decisive operation, Barkhala police have arrested the main accused in the brutal murder of Simon Sampali within 24 hours of the crime. The suspect, identified as Debonson Bhandari, aged 35, was taken into custody at the Barkhala police station on January 29.
Simon Sampali, a resident of Kachukhal basti, was tragically stabbed to death on Republic Day, January 26. Following the gruesome incident, a large team of police officers, led by Barkhala police, launched raids to track down the perpetrator. Their efforts led to the quick apprehension of Bhandari.
While the motive behind the murder has yet to be disclosed, authorities have confirmed that further questioning and investigations are ongoing. The police are working to uncover the reasons behind the violent attack and ensure that justice is served for Simon Sampali.
