Autumn Blue Arrested for Walmart Theft in Shreveport

Repeat offender caught shoplifting with child present

Autumn Blue was arrested on Sunday after allegedly attempting to steal merchandise from a Walmart in Shreveport, Louisiana while accompanied by her young child.

According to the Shreveport Police Department, officers responded to a report from a store asset protection employee who observed Blue concealing items inside the store. She was stopped while trying to leave with approximately $228.88 in unpaid merchandise.

Investigators determined that Blue had been issued a lifetime ban from Walmart in 2022 and had at least two prior theft-related convictions. During the arrest, officers also found suspected marijuana in her possession.

Before being taken into custody, Blue was allowed to release her belongings and her 7-year-old daughter to a friend.

She now faces multiple charges, including:

Habitual offender – theft
Criminal trespass
Possession of marijuana
Contributing to the delinquency of a minor
