A major drug raid executed by the Atlanta Proactive Enforcement and Interdiction (APEX) Unit on March 13 resulted in the seizure of illegal narcotics and firearms, along with the arrest of three suspects. Officers raided a residence on Clarissa Drive NW, where they discovered a variety of illicit substances, including 1,289 grams of marijuana, 118 milliliters of promethazine, 36 grams of Xanax, 30 grams of MDMA, 14 grams of Adderall, and 34 grams of counterfeit M30 pills.

In addition to the drugs, officers seized five firearms, three of which were equipped with switches that convert them into fully automatic weapons, as well as a Draco pistol. The firearms found at the residence were among the most concerning findings, as they pose significant risks to public safety.

Suspects Arrested and Charged

The three individuals arrested in connection with the raid have been identified as:

Terrell Brown, 27
Shawn Rushing, 28
James Price, 28
All three suspects are facing multiple felony charges, including possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, sale of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a machine gun, and obstruction of justice.

Ongoing Investigation

During the raid, officers also discovered a vehicle in the process of being dismantled for parts. The Atlanta Police Department’s Auto Crimes Enforcement (ACE) Unit responded to the scene, adding an additional layer to the investigation. Authorities have not released further details on the investigation, which is still ongoing.
