Man Drags Dog to Death by Tying It to His Motorcycle

A man has been arrested in Goa for the gruesome killing of a dog, which he allegedly tied to his motorcycle and dragged for several kilometers. The suspect, Ashok Panhalkar, who resides in Khorlim, Mapusa, and hails from Belgaum in Karnataka, has been booked under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.

The arrest follows a viral video showing the horrific act, which led to public outrage on social media. The incident occurred on the afternoon of September 4, when Panhalkar reportedly tied the dog to his motorcycle and dragged it over a long distance, causing the animal’s death. Afterward, he abandoned the dog’s carcass on the roadside.

Authorities swiftly took action after the video spread, and Panhalkar was arrested for his cruel actions.
