HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A Myrtle Beach woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing more than $600,000 from her employer.

Ashanti Keyanna Kinney, 39, was charged Tuesday with breach of trust with fraudulent intent, a crime involving amounts of $10,000 or more, according to booking records.

Police say the theft occurred at Affordable Dentures and Implants, located at 1267 38th Avenue North, between Jan. 1, 2024 and Aug. 15, 2025. Investigators determined Kinney allegedly accessed patient accounts, marked procedures as paid, and kept the cash for herself.

Officers collected bank records, audits, and other documentation as part of the investigation. A regional manager confirmed that Kinney was an employee at the location during the time of the theft.

Kinney was released from the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on a $20,000 bond Wednesday.
