Three members of the Aryan Brotherhood prison gang have been convicted for their involvement in a range of serious crimes, including murder, drug trafficking, fraud, and robbery. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California announced the verdicts on the convicted individuals, all of whom were incarcerated in California State Prison.

John Stinson, 70, was convicted by a federal jury for conspiracy to conduct the affairs of an enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity. Stinson was identified as a leader within the gang, exercising significant authority, resolving disputes, and even approving murders of current or former gang members.

Francis Clement, 58, also an inmate at California State Prison, was found guilty of five counts of murder, relating to the deaths of Allan Roshanski, Ruslan Megomedgadzhiev, Michael Brizendine, James Yagle, and Ronnie Ennis. Clement was also convicted for conspiracy to conduct the affairs of the gang.

Kenneth Johnson, 63, was found guilty of two counts of murder in aid of racketeering for the deaths of Roshanski and Megomedgadzhiev. He, too, was convicted of conspiracy to run the gang’s operations through illicit dealings.

Court records revealed that from 2015 to 2023, these Aryan Brotherhood members coordinated and executed a variety of criminal activities, including murder, drug trafficking, robbery, and fraud. The gang members used smuggled cellphones to direct criminal actions from within the prison system, overseeing the gang’s operations and membership.

Both Clement and Johnson ordered multiple murders in the Los Angeles area, expanding the gang’s criminal influence. Their involvement in organized crime contributed to the ongoing operations of the Aryan Brotherhood, making this conviction a significant step toward dismantling their illicit activities.
