Arjun Pandi Arrested for Cheating Couple of Rs9 Lakh with Fake Job Promise

Police arrested Arjun Pandi, a youth from Kasavanampatti, near Natham on Tuesday for defrauding a couple of Rs9 lakh. The victims, Ganesan, a farmer from Kamaraj Nagar, Natham, and his wife Manimala, were promised a job at the Palani Murugan temple by Arjun.

Trusting him, the couple transferred Rs9 lakh to Arjun in multiple online transactions. However, when the couple tried to contact him later, he stopped responding. Based on their complaint, the police registered a case and arrested Arjun Pandi. Investigations revealed that he had been involved in similar cheating cases in Villupuram, Ramanathapuram, Thanjavur, and Madurai districts.
