Antwine McFadden and Guy Owens Jr. Arrested for Sumter Business Burglary

Two men caught hiding inside burglarized Britton Road business

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. — Deputies with the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office arrested two men on Wednesday afternoon after finding them hiding inside a business on Britton Road that was reportedly burglarized.

At approximately 2:59 p.m. on July 16, deputies responded to the business and discovered Antwine Deangelo McFadden and Guy Douglas Owens Jr. inside while clearing the building.

Both McFadden and Owens were taken into custody peacefully and charged with burglary. They are currently being held at the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center awaiting bond hearings.

The investigation into the burglary is ongoing, according to the sheriff’s office.
