WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Just months after being released from prison, Antwan Teemer is heading back behind bars. The Liberty man was sentenced this week in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court to nine months in prison after pleading guilty to receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony.

The case stems from a May 2025 incident, when police ran a license plate on a Toyota Camry parked outside a motel on Belmont Avenue and discovered it was reported stolen out of Youngstown.

Surveillance footage captured Teemer exiting the vehicle. Officers later located him in a motel room, where he claimed he bought the car from two teenagers at a gas station in Youngstown for an undisclosed amount of money.

The vehicle’s rightful owner was contacted and retrieved the car.

Teemer was credited for 53 days already served as part of his sentence. His arrest and conviction came shortly after his release from a previous prison term.
