LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Three young men have been arrested following a major drug bust in Old Louisville. Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) say Antwan Dailey (21), Malachi Dailey (19), and Joshua Studdard (18) were taken into custody around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at a home in the 1400 block of South Floyd Street.

According to LMPD, officers executed a search warrant as part of an ongoing drug investigation. When the suspects refused to come out, SWAT was called in to forcibly breach the front door. All three were detained without further incident.

Major Daniel Lewis of LMPD said surveillance and community tips helped build the case. “We were able to develop enough probable cause to apply for a search warrant. With the help of the SWAT team, we were able to execute that search warrant,” Lewis stated.

A K9 search uncovered marijuana and various other narcotics, believed to have been hidden during the standoff. Police said the suspects may have attempted to destroy evidence.

Each suspect faces the following charges:

Enhanced trafficking in controlled substance (fentanyl, heroin, cocaine)

Enhanced trafficking in marijuana

Tampering with physical evidence

Drug paraphernalia manufacture/delivery

Engaging in organized crime

All three suspects were arraigned Wednesday morning and are being held on $10,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 10 at 9 a.m.
