Antonio Fischer Arrested After Standoff at Rockvale Mobile Home Park

Janesville man faces multiple charges following hours-long standoff with police

ROCK COUNTY, Wis. — Antonio Fischer, 28, of Janesville, was arrested following a multiple-hour standoff at the Rockvale Mobile Home Park in the town of Rock on Monday night.

Authorities responded around 10:36 p.m. on September 15th after deputies were called to a disturbance involving Fischer and his roommate.

The situation escalated when Fischer reportedly refused to leave the residence, prompting a response from SWAT teams from Rock County and Beloit, as well as fire departments and police from the Town of Beloit.

After several hours, Fischer was persuaded to exit the home and was taken into custody without further incident.

He now faces charges including substantial battery with a domestic violence enhancer, disorderly conduct with a domestic violence enhancer, failure to comply with police, and threats to law enforcement.

Fischer is scheduled to return to court on September 17th, 2025.
