JUPITER, Fla. — Jupiter police arrested Antonio Jozef Barbic, a white male, early Saturday morning on multiple drug-related charges, according to law enforcement records.
Barbic was taken into custody on Dec. 27, 2025, by the Jupiter Police Department. Authorities report he faces charges for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of less than 20 grams of cannabis, and possession or use of drug paraphernalia.
Officials have not released further details about the circumstances leading to the arrest, including whether it resulted from a traffic stop, call for service, or other police contact. The type of controlled substance involved has not been specified. No injuries were reported during the arrest.
Under Florida law, narcotics-related offenses can range from misdemeanors to felonies, depending on the substance, quantity, and prior criminal history. The State Attorney’s Office will review the case to determine whether formal charges will be pursued.
As with all criminal cases, Barbic is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
