Frederick, MD – A coordinated law enforcement effort has led to the indictment of Anthony Scott, who now faces multiple felony drug charges following a significant bust involving cocaine and oxycodone.
On August 26, 2025, Frederick Police Detectives Rippeon and G. Smith, working undercover in an area with known drug activity, arrested Anthony Norman Scott, of Gwynn Pack, Maryland. Scott was found in possession of approximately 10 grams of cocaine and $1,094 in cash, indicating intent to distribute.
Further investigation by Detective Edwards led to the execution of a search warrant at a residence on Ellrose Court. Authorities seized an additional 91 grams of cocaine, multiple Oxycodone pills, and $15,000 in cash. The cocaine alone had an estimated street value of $10,000.
As a result, on September 12, 2025, Scott was indicted by a Frederick County Grand Jury and is now being held at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.
The investigation was a joint operation between the Frederick Police Department, the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, and the Frederick County State’s Attorney’s Office, aiming to reduce illegal drug distribution in the community.
