Anthony Reyes, 23, was arrested early Tuesday after trespassing at President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida. According to police reports, Reyes climbed the perimeter wall without permission and told officers he intended to “spread the gospel” to Trump and “marry Kai,” referring to Trump’s 18-year-old granddaughter.
Secret Service agents detained Reyes after he triggered alarms while scaling the fence. The arrest came shortly after midnight, with no protectees present at the time. Reyes had a previous trespassing arrest at the same property on New Year’s Eve.
Palm Beach police confirmed Reyes was booked into jail with bond set at $50,000, and court records show he must avoid contact with Trump and his family. Reyes has pleaded not guilty.
This incident is one of several recent security breaches targeting Trump’s properties. Earlier this year, an alleged assassination attempt at Trump’s golf course in West Palm Beach led to multiple charges against the suspect. The Mar-a-Lago estate was declared a federally protected area by the Secret Service following these events.
