Anthony Pagano, 34, was arrested for his involvement in a string of armed robberies that took place in Meriden in 2024. The robberies occurred at various locations, including a Family Dollar, Colony Gas Mart, and Village Liquor Mart. Authorities reported that a knife was used in each of the robberies.
Around the same time, a burglary at Logan Steel and a car theft were reported. Investigators found that the stolen car matched the description of the vehicle used by the suspect during the robberies, leading to the identification of Pagano as the suspect.
Pagano, who was already incarcerated for an unrelated robbery charge in Wallingford, was charged with the following offenses:
Two counts of First-Degree Robbery
Two counts of Sixth-Degree Larceny
One count of Criminal Attempt to Commit First-Degree Robbery
One count of Criminal Attempt to Commit Sixth-Degree Larceny
One count of Third-Degree Burglary
One count of Fourth-Degree Larceny
One count of Larceny of a Motor Vehicle
He was arrested under an arrest warrant and is being held on a total of $600,000 bond. The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to review evidence related to the case.
