FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. — Anthony Terrell Hickson, 43, of Olanta, was arrested Friday in connection with a shooting that occurred last Thursday, according to the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.
Hickson faces charges of attempted murder, criminal conspiracy, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Deputies said Hickson, along with a co-conspirator, allegedly planned and carried out an attack that resulted in a victim being shot on North Jones Road near Olanta.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. No additional information on their condition has been released.
Hickson is currently held at the Florence County Detention Center without bond. Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and additional charges or arrests are possible.
