Anthony Gilberto Rodriguez Arrested After ATV Chase
Florida Highway Patrol troopers arrested Anthony Gilberto Rodriguez on Sunday after he refused to stop his ATV during a traffic stop, triggering a brief but reckless chase.
Rodriguez was seen driving the all-terrain vehicle dangerously along Pine Island Road and US-41, disregarding traffic laws and putting others at risk, authorities said.
After a pursuit, troopers apprehended him without further incident. He was booked into the Lee County Jail and is now facing several charges including reckless driving, fleeing law enforcement, and failure to register a motor vehicle.
