Sacramento County deputies arrested a man in his 30s after he allegedly stole merchandise multiple times from a Harbor Freight Tools store, including twice in a single afternoon.
Anthony Eastman, 30, was apprehended after entering the store, taking items, and leaving. Deputies said he returned later the same day and stole additional merchandise, prompting authorities to respond.
When deputies located Eastman nearby, they reportedly found him in possession of the stolen goods, along with drug paraphernalia. A records check revealed Eastman was on probation and had three outstanding warrants.
An employee stated that Eastman had stolen from the store six times over the past three weeks, incidents that had not been previously reported. Authorities estimated the cumulative value of the merchandise at several thousand dollars. The employee positively identified Eastman during a field show-up.
Eastman was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on theft and probation violation charges.
