In a shocking revelation, Karukachal police have confirmed that the death of Neethu Krishnan (35)—initially believed to be a road accident—was in fact a premeditated murder. Two Kanjirappally natives, Anshad Kabir (37) and Ujaz Abdul Salam (35), have been arrested in connection with the crime.
The incident occurred at 8:45 am on Tuesday near Karukachal while Neethu, who worked at a private firm in Changanassery, was walking to her workplace. She was found unconscious on the roadside, apparently struck by a vehicle. Locals rushed her to the hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries.
Initially registered as a road accident, the case took a turn when CCTV footage revealed that the vehicle’s driver was known to Neethu. Upon further investigation, police discovered that Anshad, a former acquaintance of the victim, was involved in a deliberate act of violence. Ujaz, his accomplice, was also aware and complicit in the crime.
Police revealed that Neethu had been living separately in Karukachal, though she was married to a Kanjirappally native. The motive behind the murder is still under investigation, and authorities are working to uncover the full details of the conspiracy.
