In a shocking incident of fratricide, Jammu Police have arrested Anil Kumar, 20, for the murder of his elder brother Mukesh Kumar, 23, following a domestic dispute. The incident took place during the intervening night of 8th and 9th March in Smailpur, Domana, District Jammu.
Upon receiving the information, the Domana Police acted swiftly and apprehended the accused. The body of Mukesh Kumar was shifted to the GMC Jammu mortuary for a postmortem examination.
Police have registered a case under FIR No. 65/2025 under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). An investigation is currently underway to determine the exact cause of the altercation and the circumstances leading up to the fatal attack.
Authorities have assured that justice will be served and all legal procedures are being followed meticulously in the case.
