The First Squad has reported the arrest of a Bellmore woman in connection with a debit and credit card theft that occurred in late November.
According to detectives, the incident took place on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at approximately 3:30 p.m., when a female victim reported that her debit and credit cards were stolen from a locker at Crunch Fitness, located at 2212 Centre Avenue in Bellmore.
Investigators said the victim later discovered that the stolen cards had been used to make multiple unauthorized transactions.
Following a detailed investigation, detectives arrested Angelique Gauthier, 19, on Sunday, December 21, 2025, in connection with the theft.
Gauthier has been charged with two counts of Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree, Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree, two counts of Identity Theft in the Third Degree, and two counts of Unlawful Possession of Personal Identification in the Third Degree.
She is scheduled to be arraigned on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at First District Court, located at 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
