LADY LAKE, Fla. — Anfernee Rashad Scott, 24, of Leesburg, was arrested early Sunday morning in Lady Lake after a vehicle stop for a window tint violation. According to the Lady Lake Police Department, the incident occurred at 3:18 a.m. on U.S. Hwy. 27/441.
A K-9 unit alerted officers to the presence of drugs in the vehicle. A search uncovered 80 grams of marijuana in Mason jars and a plastic bag, along with a digital scale and several empty plastic bags, which police described as “consistent with the sale of illegal drugs.”
Scott was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Lake County Jail and later released after posting a $2,500 bond.
