JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. — Deputies with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office have arrested two individuals in connection with a series of copper thefts.
Authorities say 42-year-old Anduril Balin Stratton and 43-year-old Samantha Joyce Stratton were taken into custody on January 6 at their residence on Jr. Davis Road.
Anduril Stratton faces a charge of grand larceny, with his bond set at $150,000. Officials noted that additional charges, including motor vehicle theft and impeding critical infrastructure, are pending, and a bond for those charges has not yet been determined.
Samantha Stratton was charged with receiving and possessing stolen property, with a bond of $100,000.
The investigation remains active, and law enforcement officials continue to review the scope of the thefts.
