Stolen Vehicle & Debit Card Fraud
Deputy J. Morales responded to a stolen vehicle report on Simmons Street around 10 a.m. on March 10. The victim reported that Corbett had taken the vehicle but returned it before deputies arrived and then fled on foot.

During the investigation, authorities discovered that a debit card left in the car had been used to withdraw money from the victim’s account.

After an initial unsuccessful search, deputies obtained warrants for:

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle
Identity theft
Obtaining property by false pretense
A background check also revealed Corbett had an outstanding warrant for a probation violation.

Later that evening, around 6 p.m., deputies received information that Corbett was spotted at a business on Bolling Road. He was located, arrested, and served with the outstanding warrants.

Bond & Court Date
Corbett was issued a $35,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 17. Authorities continue their investigation into the case.
