ATLANTA, Ga. — Two teenagers are in custody following an armed robbery that escalated into a shooting at the Canopy Glen Apartments in Norcross, Gwinnett County.
On July 18, police responded to reports of a shooting at the apartments on Pirkle Road, where they found a man with a gunshot wound to his back. Investigators believe the victim was attempting to purchase a firearm when he encountered the suspects.
On July 24, Gwinnett County authorities arrested 17-year-old Andre Glover and a 15-year-old minor during a traffic stop. Both teens have been charged with aggravated assault and armed robbery.
A subsequent search warrant led to the discovery of multiple firearms and narcotics linked to the suspects. Gwinnett police continue to investigate the incident.
