A 28-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly robbing mail carriers at gunpoint across the San Fernando Valley over a two-month span.

Andranik Naghdalyan is accused of targeting United States Postal Service carriers in Studio City, Valley Village, and Sherman Oaks in five separate incidents between Dec. 3, 2025, and Feb. 22, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the suspect approached carriers armed with a firearm and demanded postal keys and electronic scanners. Investigators said he used a white Lexus during the robberies.

On Feb. 22, officers stopped Naghdalyan near Tyrone Street and Hamlin Avenue in Van Nuys, where he was taken into custody. Police said evidence recovered during the vehicle stop linked him to the series of robberies.

The investigation was conducted in coordination with the United States Postal Inspection Service. Detectives believe there may be additional unreported victims.

Dec. 3, 2025 – 5200 block of Corteen Place, Valley Village

Jan. 31, 2026 – 4100 block of Whitsett Avenue, Studio City

Feb. 21, 2026 – 5700 block of Whitsett Avenue, Valley Village

Feb. 22, 2026 – 5400 block of Ethel Avenue, Sherman Oaks
