Amory Shooting Suspects Arrested in Pontotoc

Three people have been arrested in connection with a shooting that took place in Amory, Mississippi, just days before Christmas. Tyrique Harris, 20, of Plantersville, and Denzarious Wren, 19, of Nettleton, were found hiding in the attic of an apartment building in Pontotoc on Monday by local police. Both men are facing charges of shooting into an occupied building after they allegedly fired shots into a home on Concord Avenue on December 20, 2024. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.

In addition to Harris and Wren, Richarra Stephens, who was living in the apartment where the suspects were found, was also arrested. She is charged with hindering prosecution, as she is accused of assisting Harris and Wren in evading capture.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident, and all three individuals have been taken into custody with pending charges. The case highlights the ongoing efforts by local police in Mississippi to apprehend suspects involved in violent crimes.
